Grace Pan
President
Grace Pan has over 10 years experience in Banking and Mortgage industries, specializ ing in pricing and strategic planning. She was VP of Citi Home Equity for Citibank. She is a PTA member for her children's school and actively involves in school's fund-raising events and many other activities . She also served as PTA's Vice Chairperson at New York Huaxia Chinese School and helps organize many events for the schoo l. She is currently teaching Olympic Math at HXNY Chinese School. She has been volunteering for the Asian American Festivals for the past two years, in charging of programs and performances as a stage manager.
Li Lin
Treasurer & Immediate Past President
Li is a Director, Exposure Management & Hedging Advisor at General Electric Capital where she manages the interest rate and FX risks for GE's $500 billion debt and derivative portfolio. Li also serves on GE's Asian Pacific American Forum where she assisted in raising disaster relief and reconstruction aid for recent natural disasters. She also served as Vice Principal and PTA Vice Chairperson at Huaxia General School. Li and her husband have two children and reside in Stamford Connecticut .
Peggy Chen, CPA
Vice President of Development
Peggy is a certified public account with over 30 years of experience in financial services. During her professional career, Peggy has held various leadership positions, including the treasurer and CFO of Citicorp International Trade Indemnity and the financial controller of Citi Technology Infrastructure at Citigroup North America. An avid advocate for the Asian American community and dedicated member of the OCA-WHV board, Peggy was honored by OCA National with the Unsung Hero Award in 2011, and elected the president of OCA-WHV in 2016-2017. As the current vice president of development, she also serves as a coordinator for Westchester County’s Livable Communities Initiative to provide support services, health and wellness programs, educational and cultural programs for seniors. Peggy is a founding member of the Chinese Alliance Church of Westchester. She and her husband, David, have resided in Westchester County, New York since 1985. They have two grown children and two grandsons.
Gary Guo, MD, PhD
Co-Vice President of Programs
An attending physician, Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College . He, currently, serves as Board Director and Executive Vice President of OCA/WHV , and Vice President of Fudan University Alumni Association USA. Dr. Guo is also a past president of the Chinese Physicians Association. He is currently an immediate past president .
David Y . Chen
Vice President of Community Outreach
David received his doctoral degree in social gerontology from Columbia University. During his 35-year professional career in the healthcare industry, David has served as an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and led a community program at Saint Vincent's Hospital to provide medical assistance for the homebound monolingual older Chinese patients. He has also worked as a coordinator and clinician at local medical centers and psychiatric hospitals. After retiring from his full-time job, David continued to strengthen his skills of working with older adults and completed the certification of leadership training by American Society on Aging. As a vice president of community outreach on the OCA-WHV board, David serves on the Westchester Geriatric Mental Health Collaborative committee and works closely with Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health to provide support for Asian Americans who have suffered from depression, anxiety disorder, hate crime, and psychiatric symptoms caused by COVID19 pandemic. He is also a member of the Westchester County Council for Seniors, and a liaison between Asian American senior community and Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services.
Bo Hong
Legal Counsel, DAA Co-Chair
Bo Hong is an Associate Director and Regulatory Attorney in the Compliance Department of Macquarie Group. Ms. Hong has over 20 years of experience in providing legal and regulatory services to banks, corporations and other institutions on capital markets and broker/dealer activities, lending and securities transactions. Prior to joining Macquarie Group in 2019, Ms. Hong was the Head of Regulatory Change Management in the Compliance Department of BNP Paribas since 2016, and previously the Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Department of ING Americas. Prior to joining ING in 2005, Ms. Hong was in private practice with New York law firm Thompson & Hine LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law. Ms. Hong is a member of the New York State Bar Association Derivatives and Structured Products Law Committee.
Sinforosa Tan Kaung, Ph. D
VP of Public Relations & Communications
Sinforosa Tan Kaung is an educator born in the Philippines. She is a graduate of the University of San Carlos and Cornell University and earned a Ph. D. from Syracuse University. Rose has received many awards; has published and presented papers /lead workshops for mathematics teachers locally, nationally and internationally. Now retired, she is Professor Emerita of Mathematics and a former holder of the Sophia & Joseph Abeles Endowed Chair for Mathematics at the Westchester Community College. Rose has been involved with OCA-WHV for twenty years, is a lifetime member and has served on the Board in various positions including past president. She currently serves as the Co-Vice President of Communications and Public Relations. Among her many volunteer work includes serving on the Syracuse University School of Education Board of Visitors.
William H.P. Kaung
Co-VP of Programs & Co- VP of Advocacy
Bill is a lifetime member of the Westchester & Hudson Valley Chapter of The Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) and President of the chapter for three years, from 1999 to 2001. He is currently the Vice President - Programs and a member of the chapter's board. He also served as the past OCA National Treasurer and Executive Council member from 2002 to 2008 . Bill served on the Executive Committee of both the Hudson Valley Community Coalition (HVCC), a coalition of the Not-for-Profit Advocacy groups in the lower Hudson Valley and We Are Westchester, a coalition of the Not-for-Profit Advocacy groups in Westchester County . He studied accounting at Pace University, New York City, AAS, and continued his studies at Syracuse University, B.S. in Finance, and graduate studies at Iona College, MBA.
Jenny Kho
Co-Executive Vice President
Jenny Kho* plays a very active part in her community. She is the Past President of the Philippines Chinese Association of America (Northeast) and the Philippines Chiang Kai Shek Alumni Association of America (Northeast). She is committed to helping her clients achieve their financial goals for themselves, their families and their businesses by providing effective strategies for assets accumulation, preservation and transfer. Jenny is a member of the New York Life’s Chairman’s Council, which is the highest level of achievement for a New York Life representative. In addition, she has further demonstrated her dedication to serving the needs of her community by attaining Life Membership status in the industry’s prestigious Million Dollar Round Table.
Tammy Huang
Co-Vice President Of Membership
Tammy Huang, joined Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 1977. She is currently a Senior Director in Regeneron. She directs therapeutic protein R&D and leads the collaborative effort in the early discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies. She built therapeutic antibody pipelines and successfully led the antibody discovery and development team to identify many therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. She is also a devoted wife and mother of two children. She is also actively involved in several communities. She has taught Sunday school for pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students for more than fifteen years collectively for two Christian organizations, CACW and WCCC. She graduated from Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in science. She did a two-year tenure in environment engineering in Beijing. She has a PhD degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.
Albert Chua
Secretary
Albert Chua, working in the financial services business for about 5 years, joined his aunts and uncle in their practice. He was born and raised here in the U.S., spending his younger years in rural Sturbridge, Massachusetts. He moved to Yonkers, New York around 2012 for the sole purpose of getting introduced to the financial services industry and the rest is history. Since then, he has embraced New York's uniqueness and is slowly becoming what is colloquially known as an official "New Yorker." He is currently an active member of OCA and was introduced to the organization by his aunt, Jenny Kho.
Daniel Lewis
Co-Vice President Of Community Outreach
Daniel is an OCA-WHV co-vice president for Community Outreach, where he builds relationships with other Asian American organizations and also works to present Asian culture to the non-Asian American community. Daniel is the Families with Children from China of Greater New York (FCCNY) Liaison to Chinese American Community Organizations. He and his wife are the parents of two children adopted from China and focuses on bringing the adoptive Chinese American community closer together with the traditional Chinese American community through activities and networking so that both may mutually benefit.
Jane Li
Co-Vice President of Advocacy & Community Outreach
Jane Li, Senior Manager, global public policy of PepsiCo, Purchase, New York, responsiblefor global review and analysis of regulations and policies on Pepsi business andcorresponding strategies. Outside of her professional field, Jane plays active roles incommunity services. Since joining the OCA-WHV board in 2017, she has been the chair ofDAA gala celebration in 2018- 2019 and co-chair of Asian Heritage Month Festival in 2021.She was the chair of business development and the chair of culture celebration of PepsiAsian Networking (PAN), New York chapter, promoting PepsiCo involvements in local Asiancommunity activities. She held the role of PTA director for Huaxia New York ChineseSchool in 2011-2012. Jane earned her bachelor’s in MIS, Master’s in Economics from Tongji University inShanghai, China and MBA from University of Notre Dame in Indiana, US. Currently she andher husband with three children resident in Ridgefield, Ct. The family love touring aroundthe world for ski in winter season.
Jin Li, MD, PhD, FAANEM
Co-Exec Vice President
Jin Li is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology, New York Medical College and is the chief of Neuromuscular Section, Westchester Medical Center. She is the program director of Neurology residency program and committee member of Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education, New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Li serves as workshop committee member of American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is a board member of the Chinese American Neurological Association, USA. She serves as Westchester chapter director of the Association of Chinese American Physician. Dr. Li is board member of the OCA Westchester and Hudson Valley chapter since 2012 and currently serves as Co-Vice President of Programs/Advocacy. She serves as board member of Beiyi Alumni Association and vice president of the Peking University Alumni Association of Greater New York. Dr. Li is also a founding board member of the Chinese University Alumni Alliance. She is co-chair of Chinese Family Network at Horace Mann School.
Jaclyn Liu
Web Master & VP Membership & VP of Mentor YOCAA
Jaclyn established an after school Chinese program to serve the community since 2016. Before she joined the OCA-WHV board in 2015, she was an active volunteer for many years. She has managed five years of Rising Stars Program, maintained the website as a webmaster for 4 years. In the local community, Jaclyn sat in the Board of Directors at Huaxia Chinese School of Greater New York (HXGNY) for six years, and was a Vice Principal for two years. Jaclyn managed multiple international and US teams as software Quality Assurance Manager when she worked at World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. between 2007 and 2016.
Eric G. Cheng

Eric G. Cheng, J.D., Currently with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman and Dicker of White plains. Partner in the Insurance Coverage and Architect and Engineer Liability litigation. Pro Bono Work: Counseled indigent families through the immigration court system as part of the Safe Passage Project, Monitored local election process through the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, Assisted elderly clients in preparation of wills as part of the Volunteers of Legal Service Elderly Project. Volunteer work: Board member of the Chinese School of Southern Westchester, Member of the Citizens Nominating Committee in the Village of Scarsdale and Member of the Westchester Association of Chinese Americans

Meow Yee
Co-Vice President Development
Meow Yee is Director, Asia Pacific Business Development, Cognitive Systems at IBM. She led the formation of a key partnership and is currently responsible for a joint venture in China. In her prior role, she led the IBM Mainframe division's Mergers & Acquisition strategy and projects and was on a 2.5 year international assignment in China. In a prior position as the Program Executive for Asian Initiatives, she managed a ground breaking project to share best practices across several global companies on Asian talent and growing businesses in Asian marketplaces. Her prior positions at IBM included managing a $300M software business unit, development of IBM's corporate information architecture, software development and research at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Ms. Yee is a co-founder and president emeritus of the Asian Women Leadership Network and a past president of this OCA chapter. Ms. Yee is a recipient of the National Women of Color Technology All Star, YWCA Salute to Women and the President's Volunteer Service awards. Ms. Yee graduated with a Master of Science degree from Imperial College, London, England.
Vincent Young
Co-Vice President of Development
Vincent Young is the past president of OCA-WHV and had served in various positions on the board including finance, outreach and membership. Vincent has been involved in OCA-WHV for more than two decades and currently serves as Co-Vice President of Membership. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic and an MBA in Finance from Stern School at New York University. He retired as a Director in the Public Policy and External Affairs Department at Verizon Communications. Vincent had served as a member of the Business Advisory Committee of OCA National representing Verizon. Currently he is part of a private company focusing on real estate investment and management. He and his wife, Grace, reside in White Plains. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.

Jean served as a past president of this chapter . She has also served as Executive VP at OCA National in addition to serving as VP of Finance and Education. She holds an MBA from NYU. Jean has also served on the schola rship committee and a generous contributor to OCA. Jean and her husband Dr. Stanley Chang are life time members.
Dr. Howard Chen
Webmaster
Dr Chen received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987. From 1987 to 2013, Dr. Chen worked at the IBM Research Division, Thomas J. Watson Research Center, in Yorktown Heights, New York, where he had been involved in the design and implementation of many IBM eServer products. As a prolific inventor holding 37 U.S. patents, Dr. Chen has received numerous IBM Invention Achievement Awards. He has also received the IBM Outstanding Contribution Award, the IBM Research Division Award, and the Outstanding Technical Achievement Award at IBM’s Corporate Technical Recognition Event. Dr. Chen served as the president of Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE), Greater New York Chapter in 2013, and received the dynamic achiever award from OCA Westchester and Hudson Valley Chapter in 2015. Currently, he is a board member of OCA Westchester and Hudson Valley Chapter, CIE National Council representative, and chair of the CIE-USA Centennial Planning Committee.
Linda Ching Sledge, Ph. D.

Linda is an author and educator born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a seven-generation huaqiao family. A graduate of Punahou School and U.C. California at Berkeley, she earned a Ph.D. in Renaissance Literature from the CUNY Graduate Center. Now retired, she is Professor Emerita of English and a former holder of the Abeles Endowed Chair for Global Literature at the Westchester Community College. She is also a writer of fiction, having written two award winning historical novels set in China and Hawaii published by Bantam Books. Currently, she teaches courses in Modern Chinese Literature at local retirement institutes and lives in Pleasantville with her husband Gary, a retired editor at Readers Digest.
Xin Zheng, Ph. D

Xin graduated from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA/ISAS) Trieste, Italy in 1991. He has been a biomedical researcher for over 20 years, with experience in both academic and industrial environments. Currently he serves as the Associate professor of Pathology, Senior Director, Research data and informatics Icahn school of medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to his professional interests, Dr. Zheng is an active volunteer in the Asian American community for the past twelve years, has served two terms as PTA chair and one term as board member at Huaxia Chinese School, New York. He joined OCA Westchester and the Hudson Valley Chapter eight years ago, has served in various positions on the board and is the Immediate Past President. He has been a mentor for many Asian American children and young OCA members in the Westchester and Hudson Valley area. He enjoys working with his fellow dedicated board members to build a better and stronger Asian American Community.
