Bhavana Pahwa
Bhavana Pahwa has been a resident of Westchester County for over 20 years. In that time, she has been deeply involved with Southeast Asian Indians across Westchester County in various leadership capacities. Bhavana retired in January 2022 after being employed as the Deputy Director of the City of White Plains Youth Bureau for 18 years. She is a licensed clinical social worker, community and program developer, grant writer, and non-profit marketing and PR professional. She is currently self-employed as a consultant working with various non-profit organizations in the community. She also serves on the Westchester County Asian American Advisory Board, Member of the Board of the Asian Women’s Alliance for Kinship & Equality (AWAKE), and the co-Vice Chair of the Westchester Asian American Democrats.
