Jeanhee Chung

Jeanhee is the owner of Sound Shore Digital, an lT consulting company. A graduate of Harvard University, she has an M.S. in computational biology at Yale University and has twenty years of experience working in demographics and urban planning. Jeanhee has been active in service to the community for decades. She has brought new science and technology to schools in the Bronx and Mamaroneck through her work as a PTSA chair, and she is a Girl Scout troop leader. Jeanhee also volunteers with St. John's Lutheran Church, co-sponsoring refugees from countries in the Middle East, Africa and Central America. As a second generation Korean-American living in Westchester, she serves on the Asian American Advisory Board for Westchester County. She is an OCA representative and co-lead for The New Bridges Coalition.

She received recognition as a Women’s History Month honoree for New York's 37th District in 2021 and Westchester County Legislators’ AAPI Heritage Month proclamation of “Jeanhee Chung Day” in 2022 for her work organizing a group, "Sew For New York/Sew For Connecticut" that coordinated donations of tens of thousands of handsewn cloth masks by volunteers to health professionals, essential workers, schools, and at-risk communities during the pandemic.
