Westchester's new County Executive Ken Jenkins invited Westchester residents to the County's annual Lunar New Year celebration. Meow Yee, former OCA-WHV President, spoke on the occasion, along with Marjorie Hsu of the Asian American Advisory Board. WACA (Westchester Association of Chinese Americans) presented Ken with their traditional annual gift of an orchid. David Imamura, the first Asian American County Legislator, spoke as did Koji Sato, President of the Japanese American Assocation of New York (JAANY).
The well attended event featured a pan Asian buffet and many Westchester residents of all backgrounds.
